Recently chosen by Kaumatua of a North Island iwi to create a 20+ metre panelled painting for a Whare on their Marae. "Even being considered for such an honour is hard to describe in words. It is something that I will value for the rest of my life" (Brad Novak 2008).

Artrite Screenprinting 2008 Artist 'Award'

Artrite has funded Brad to create a limited edition screenprint. Previous artists to receive this honour include Dick Frizzell, Michael Smither, Stanley Palmer and Fatu Feu'u (Glenn Taylor, Artrite 2008).
For this print Brad has selected 'Tiki With Danaus Plexippus Wings 1.1' (now available). Images from his 'Aotearoa Landscape' series will also be printed in the future.
